We do not hold contracts. The client is free to discontinue service at any time with no charge.
Requests to skip a cleaning must be made at least 2 business days in advance. All requests made within this time frame will be charged a $75 fee.
Reschedules must be made at least 1 full business day in advance. Reschedules made within this time frame will be charged a $15 fee. Reschedules made outside of this timeframe will not be charged, given that the rescheduled date falls within seven days of the date of the originally scheduled cleaning.
Lockouts are charged a $75 fee. We send text message and email reminders prior to each cleaning to prevent lockouts.
Payment is due the day of service. Late payments are charged an additional 5% for each day past due. Payment can be made by cash or check left on the counter on the day of service or a credit card on file in our secure system, payment will be processed automatically 1-5 business days after service. A credit card must be on file for all initial cleans.
Rate increases: rates increase periodically based on inflation.
Tipping: tips are never expected, however a 10-15% gratuity for your tech is always appreciated.
Employees of Flower City Cleaning may not stand on ladders. We work with long dusting wands and step stools in order to reach high places.
Requests for work outside of the normal cleaning routine are to be made no later than the beginning of the scheduled cleaning and are subject to additional fees.
If the client requests specific products be used that are not supplied by Flower City Cleaning, Flower City Cleaning may not be held liable for any damage to the client’s home or belongings as a result of the use of these products.
Getting ready for cleaning day: we ask that surfaces be tidied up so that our technicians can do their jobs efficiently. Technicians are not required to clean surfaces or items on surfaces if there is excessive clutter (more than 5 items).
Breakage policy: In the unfortunate event that an item gets broken, Flower City Cleaning will reimburse up to $100 or the worth of the item, whichever is less. Please make us aware of fragile items of high value that should not be dusted. We are insured in the event of a major catastrophe. Flower City Cleaning is not responsible for items improperly installed or in need of repair that subsequently get damaged as a result of our cleaning.
Bed changes: We include one bed change at every cleaning. We are happy to include additional beds for an additional $5 per bed.
Pets: pets may be allowed to roam during the scheduled cleaning unless there is a history of aggression or the cleaner feels threatened by the pet. In this case the pet must be contained. Failure to contain aggressive pets will result in a $75 fee, and the cleaning will be rescheduled. Additionally, our cleaning technicians are not required to clean up pet messes.
If, at any time, the cleaner feels threatened or harassed in any way, he/she has the right to terminate the scheduled cleaning. The client will be charged the full price of the cleaning.
We do not discount cleanings under any circumstance outside of coupons. If you are not satisfied with the cleaning, we will be back to fix it. Do not clean an area that you believe to be unsatisfactory! Instead, call us immediately and we will be back.
